The Holistic Healing Hypnosis Methodology

Kartika HHH instructor

A Personalized Approach to Subconscious Change

The Holistic Healing Hypnosis (HHH) Methodology is a proprietary approach developed by Kartika Alexandra after more than a decade of working with individuals from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and life experiences.

Rather than relying on a single therapeutic model or technique, the HHH Methodology integrates psychology, hypnotherapy, trauma-informed practice, subconscious work, nervous system understanding, and complementary approaches into a highly individualized process.

The methodology was developed from a simple observation: no two people experience life in exactly the same way. While two individuals may present with similar symptoms or challenges, the underlying causes, emotional experiences, beliefs, and patterns driving those difficulties are often very different.

For this reason, no two HHH sessions are exactly alike.   Every session is thoughtfully adapted to the individual, their goals, their history, and what is most appropriate at that point in their life.

Why It Was Developed

Early in my career, I became increasingly curious about why some individuals experienced profound and lasting change, while others remained stuck despite years of insight, motivation, or previous therapeutic work.

I also found that many traditional approaches focused primarily on managing symptoms rather than understanding what had created them.

Over time, I came to believe that meaningful change often requires looking beyond the presenting problem and understanding the deeper patterns shaping a person's thoughts, emotions, behaviours, relationships, and experience of life.

The HHH Methodology was developed to support this way of working.

Rather than asking, "How do we reduce this symptom?", the methodology asks, "What is creating this experience, and what needs to change for the individual to experience greater freedom and wellbeing?"

The Four Levels of the Mind

One of the distinguishing features of the HHH Methodology is its recognition that human experience is influenced by multiple levels of awareness.

Depending on the individual and the nature of the work, sessions may involve one or more of these levels.

The Conscious Mind

Our thoughts, reasoning, decision-making, awareness, and analytical thinking.

The Subconscious Mind

The deeper patterns, beliefs, emotional learning, memories, habits, and automatic responses that influence much of daily life.

The Unconscious Mind

The part of the mind responsible for many automatic physiological processes while also holding protective responses and deeper adaptive patterns that exist outside conscious awareness.

The Superconscious Mind

Within the HHH Methodology, the Superconscious represents the deepest level of wisdom, guidance, and human potential. When appropriate, this level may be incorporated to support insight, alignment, healing, and meaningful change.

Principles of the HHH Methodology

While every session is individualized, the work is guided by several core principles.

Individual Before Method
The individual always takes priority over the technique. This includes a trauma-informed approach, where care is taken to ensure that each session respects the individual's emotional safety, personal boundaries, and readiness for change.

Root Cause Before Symptom
The aim is not simply to reduce unwanted experiences but to understand and address what is contributing to them.

Integration Matters
Meaningful change continues beyond the session. Time is intentionally allowed for integration as new insights and changes become part of everyday life.

The Mind and Body Work Together
Thoughts, emotions, behaviours, physiology, and the nervous system continually influence one another and are considered together throughout the process.

Safety, Comfort, and Consent
Every session is conducted with respect for the individual's readiness, autonomy, and wellbeing.

How It Differs from Traditional Hypnotherapy

Traditional hypnotherapy often focuses on resolving a specific issue through hypnotic suggestion  or targeted subconscious work

The HHH Methodology takes a broader and more integrative approach.

Each session begins with understanding the individual rather than simply the presenting problem. Conscious conversation, psychological understanding, subconscious exploration, emotional processing, and nervous system awareness are combined into a process that is continually adapted as new information emerges.

Rather than following a predetermined script or protocol, the methodology is designed to respond to the complexity of each individual.

The objective is not simply symptom relief, but meaningful and lasting improvements in wellbeing, relationships, performance, and overall quality of life.

A Continually Evolving Methodology

The HHH Methodology continues to evolve through ongoing clinical experience, professional development, research, and observation.

Every client contributes to a deeper understanding of the subconscious mind and human behaviour.

It remains a living methodology - one that continues to grow alongside the people it was created to serve.
